“A great place to Run, Walk, and Bike”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I use the White Pine twice a week to run and the trail is clean, well maintained, well used, and interesting. The portion I use goes through heavy woods, although you can often see houses and you do cross roads regularly. There is a well maintained restroom at my trailhead.

“Every month, most weeks actually”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Its hard to find the superlatives for the White Pine. Paved continuously from Comstock Park to Sand Lake (over 20 miles) of easy grade rail trail traversing several small Michigan towns, passing ice cream, brew pubs, coffee shops and restaurants as well as open fields, woods, the Rogue River and many back yards. This is a treasure, and I'm lucky enough to live a block off the trail and use it year round - several thousand miles a year.

“Nice Trail to walk or bike”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This trail is in my back yard and my wife and I enjoy it we are lucky. There are places you can bring your bikes and park your car I know one is on Russell road just North of M57 and the City of Cedar springs has one just follow the Trail Head Sings. And I sure there are others the Black top ends at Sand Lake the snowmobiling starts at Russell rd and North only

“Great place to get some exercise”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

This trail covers something like 20 miles that are paved and even more unpaved going north. You can get all the way to Cadillac going back and forth with paved and unpaved. I have used this trail many times for rollerblading, walking and biking. Good wide and smooth surfaces with a few exceptions that are starting to pit a little bit and not too many cross streets depending on which section your on. Great place to go and get some exercise.

“One of our favorite bike trails!”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Beautiful views, the trail is nicely maintained. It s 8 miles on the trail from Comstock Park to Rockford. Stop in Rockford and enjoy a light meal and ride 8 miles back.
