Hubby and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and a brew. Porter was great as well as the Red Ale. Interesting menu that was hard to choose from, including Hungarian goulash, lobster mac 'n cheese and jambalaya. They also offer several interesting pizzas. We chose the salmon avocado sandwich and fish tacos. Both were very good. The fish tacos came "fajita style" with well-seasoned fish and toppings to make your own. Our only complaint was that the cabbage topping was chopped, rather than shredded (making it harder to mound it on the taco) and was not seasoned (would have been better with a little lime and salt dressing). The salmon on the sandwich was tasty, although it might have benefited from a sauce. The sweet potato fries were just a touch greasy. Having said all this, it was still a pretty good lunch. Our server, Elyssa, was exceptional and made great recommendations. The place was pretty quiet when we were there, but it is big and cavernous and we could see where it could get pretty busy and pretty loud.

The beer is pretty good. The food can be very good. However, I try to go during off-hours, as it is frequently very crowded. There is lots of seating inside, and they can handle large groups. Happy hour can be an absolute madhouse, and service really suffers as a result. When a band is playing, it only adds to the noise, not the experience.

Just another brewery with decent but unmemorable food. The atmosphere is better than average for a brewery, and the crowd was mixed in age.

I am confused about the reviews that say the food is average, or "not what you come for." We have only been here once, but thought the food was very good. My husband got the sirloin special with a heap of green beans and a large serving of blue cheese mashed potatoes. It was AMAZING. I had the chicken BBQ pizza, loved the BBQ sauce. Hungarian goulash that my friend ordered was also very good. For beer we had the Rochester Red Ale, it was excellent.
