We live nearby but always take our friends/family here when they are in town. Such a beautiful and huge home.

I have been here several times for work events, and it's always neat to walk the grounds or tour inside.

“An impressive place”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

This "house" is an example of a bygone era...with impressive artistry--woodworking, sculpture, paintings, etc.--throughout the house. I was very impressed by the knowledgeable docent who toured us around and was able to answer our questions and engage us in conversation about the care and planning that went into every detail of the place.

If you're able to visit Meadow Brook during the holidays, the decorations are spectacular. During the summer, the grounds host special events that are always fun, including a wine tasting event.

Excellent tour of the Matilda Dodge-Wilson estate. AAA discount extended. Even my 16 year old son thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful narration by the knowledgeable docent. Tour lasts 1-1.5 hrs.
