I was pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness and amenities of the boardwalk area in Port Huron, Michigan. Visiting this area provided beautiful views of boats on the St. Clair River, fishermen, and gorgeous blue water. Whether you travel to Canada, or just spend the day on the U.S. side, this is worth a drive to see.

We stop to see the bridge every time we visit the Sarnia side. The yummy fries from the Chip Trucks are the first draw and sitting there in the park watching boats come under the bridge are the second draw. The area is well kept and the park has been updated several times. This is a wonderful place to bring your lunch and just sit and relax. It is free and there is plenty of parking. The bridge itself is quite stunning and looks super in photographs.

Great place to walk or ride your bike. Love looking at the ships that are going down the river. People fishing, roller blading, dog walking, etc. Also not far from downtown Port Huron which has many good places for lunch or dinner.

How could these two masterpieces not get a "five"? Whether you are crossing or below the bridge looking at the blue water, it is a spectacular sight. The only thing that could be missing is a freighter traveling downriver under the spans. Let's look forward to the openning of the Edison Inn.

The bridge area is beautiful, parks all around. Great river view and very nice to watch the freighters pass. Great food in the area and nice motorcycle riding.
