This is a HUGE campground. With that being said, you didn't feel crowded, if you stuck to your campsite. Try going to any of the public facilities, and it was crowded. ONLY premium sites and main roads are paved. This is okay, but don't coming thinking you'll be parked on concrete. Cable hook up was broken, like someone had driven away with it still hooked to their camper. Leaking water hook up that we fixed with Teflon tape.
I agree about what another reviewer posted about kids--everywhere. I am OK with this, as camping tends to be a family thing, however, the roads and side walks were CROWDED with kids on scooters, roller blades, bicycles, etc. This is very dangerous, even when you are paying attention and driving slowly. NEED MORE VEHICLE-FREE PAVEMENT PLACES!!!!
What GROSSED ME OUT was the HAIR in all of the shower stalls. We OF COURSE wore our shoes in the shower, but it was very difficult to not think about all the hair swirling around you as you tried to get clean. I REALLY think this is a product of a BUSY campground, but honestly, they need to attend to the bathrooms more often.
LOTS to do here and great access to the bike trails, but most things cost a pretty penny. My husband and kids seem to enjoy it, but I think I prefer some of the smaller, local campgrounds.
