wonderful suite and wonderful stay, stayed 5 days. The restaurant was great also, we met several friends there and
didn't mind having meals there. Very friendly staff. my complaint was that our suite was just above the outdoor
patio and the bad music continued way to long, even with the windows closed.

Date of stay: July 2017

Dear patcooper2016,

Thank you so much for your lovely review of your stay at The Inn at St. John's during the recent Concours d'Elegance of America vintage automobile show. We are so pleased that you took the time to share your thoughts.

Your comment about the music is very helpful. As part of our continuous improvement process, I promise to work with our restaurant team to address it going forward.

We hope to see you again next July 27-29, 2018 for this wonderful, annual show!

Sincerely,
Jim Fowler

This is absolutely the best way to spend Easter Brunch with family in friends. Be sure to being an enormous appetite. I'm not typically a buffet fan, but this is not your typical buffet. They offer something quite literally for everyone (gluten free and vegetarians included). It's really indescribable, but for starters think of any kind of traditional breakfast food you might want then take that to the next level (nothing is just prepared and set out... it's all prepared with beautiful displays, perfect flavors, and super fresh). Next think of the most amazing lunch cuisine from around the world that you could imagine... from Asian cuisine including sushi to Spanish paella to traditional Mexican to American (carved beef, sliders, cony island display, fun, fun, fun!) and Italian, etc. It is all there and served up in small plates so that you can experience a little of everything. For desserts, like the brunch cuisine, there is such a vast selection... fresh donuts, amazing pastries, liquid nitrogen ice cream made right there in front of you, ice cream Sunday stations, Peti Fours, dessert pops, homemade Easter decorated cookies (shaped like rabbits and eggs) and on and on. They also offer every type of coffee (including cappuccino stations) or beverage you could want to accompany your lunch.

The Easter Bunny visits every year and walks around for photo opportunities and also stops by the kids play room full of pillows, movies, toys, and fun for kids.

I've enjoyed the Easter Brunch at the Inn at St. John's for the past four years. Word is getting out though, so you have to make your reservations early. They only do seatings by reservation and have specific seating times available. Call 3-4 weeks before Easter to reserve your seat!!!

As for the hotel, the rooms are always in perfect condition and the service is always spot on. The beds and linens are a super quality, providing a great night's sleep. The two-story presidential suites are over-the-top, along with the ambassador suites. The Inn at St. John's is known for hosting lavish weddings, and actually have their own beautiful Catholic chapel on-site for ceremonies. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the metro Detroit area. They also have a really great restaurant on property, 5ive Steakhouse, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. See my review for 5ive Steakhouse for details...

Room tip: Presidential suites are over-the-top, along with the ambassador suites! Definitely worth it!

Dear JenLovesSunshine,

(Great name, by the way!)

I have just become one of your biggest fans! That was an excellent, 5-Star description of our Easter Buffet/Brunch. I could not have described it better.

However, I wish to add that the Culinary team, led by Chef Terence, and our Banquet team, led by our very creative and talented Assistant F&B Director, Bethany - also the mastermind behind the decorations for the Easter Buffet - work very hard to make this a fantastic event. On behalf of the two of them and their teams, thank you so much for posting this wonderful review.

We look forward to your fifth year of attending next April 1. Make your reservations early!

Warmest regards,
Jim Fowler

My husband and I attended a lovely wedding at the Inn of St. John's. We stayed in the hotel, ate at the restaurant and my husband played golf on the well maintained, interesting course. Our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. Our breakfast delicious but perhaps a bit overpriced. We enjoyed the fact that it was an all inclusive stay for us coming from Florida. The wedding chapel was truly lovely and made me wish I could get married all over again. The service staff were friendly and helpful. The location isn't far from the Metro Detroit airport and the quaint town of Plymouth a quick 10 minutes away.

This was a first stay for just one night. We loved the Inn and grounds surrounding the golf course and rest of the property. A wedding was on-going and it was clear a lot of details were well planned judging by the lovely settings, flowers, and ballroom set up. Our room was a two-queen,very comfortable with lovely bedding, towels and atmosphere. In was a little distracting that our room was on the first floor right next to an outside light. This required pushing a chair against the drapes to keep out the light. We look forward to staying again, but would request a room off the first floor.

Room tip: Request a room off the first floor to avoid outside lighting.

What started out as a nice place to stay for a family wedding turned into a wonderful experience. The event started with immediate check-in, experienced front desk staff and a great executive suite. A walk around the property and a cocktail at the 5ive Restaurant with John the bartender led to a fun evening sampling food and beverages. I had the opportunity to meet the property Food and Beverage Manager, Edward, who contributed with fantastic recommendations from the menu and other property outlets. This is a property I would recommend and return to anytime I'm in town. Love his place and love the staff that make it so special.

Room tip: Can't say enough about the executive suites.

Dear Jrarble,

Now, that's an "amazing" review of your recent stay at the Inn at St. John's. We are grateful that you were kind enough to post it.

We teach our associates that "you get what you give in life" . If you smile at someone, generally speaking, they will smile at you. If you treat them with kindness and share your enthusiasm for your work, guests will take note.

Edward and John are two if our very best. I am pleased that you had a chance to see their passion for excellent guest service first hand. I will be sure to share your kind comments with them.

We all look forward to your return. We were honored to have you and the rest of the wedding party as our guests.

Cheers,
Jim Fowler
