This is a dining experience! Margarite and Doug are gracious hosts and fun to talk to. We have been here 3 times and cant wait to go back. You have to make a reservation in advance. It is a beautifully decorated "castle" located of the beaten path with beautiful views. It is a fixed menu so if you have dietary needs tell them in advance. Our meals, usually chicken or fish have been excellent every time.

A bit out of town but a stunning spot run by an older couple. We went with a group and it was like being in someone's home. Great views of the mountains and the food was stellar.Think you need at least 10 for a reservations but so worth it. Made friends with their cute dogs!

Quite possibly the most beautiful property I've ever seen! Their open-air stone home is spectacular and the panoramic mountain views are amazing. We were there with family and friends - 18 of us. The food was wonderful and the hosts are delightful and welcoming. If you're in or near Cabarete, make a reservation!! It's a fixed menu and every course was delish!!

My wife and I do a lot of travelling, and after awhile, it all starts to blend together. This is especially so when it comes to the beach vacation. You can only go on so many booze-cruises and snorkeling trips until they all sort of run together.

Castle Club offers a break from that. It's something I'm sure we'll remember for decades. The experience is just unlike anything else I've ever come across. It's a restaurant, but it's not. It's a lovely, interesting couple, that open up their phenomenal home to you. They cook you a fantastic meal. They have been in DR for a time, so they tell you interesting stories about the history of the place. And it's not the normal tourist stuff. It's the recent history of the country, as-witnessed by someone with Western sensibilities. It's sort of like the best Bed and Breakfast you've ever been to, but without the bed part, and with exceptional food and wine. If we go back to DR, we'll surely try to visit again.
