Booked a cabin four months in advance for two couples ,when we arrived found out we had a cabin where one room had two singles beds, asked if can have this changed to two doulbes, the response was we were booked out, park didn't seem to be that busy, no real effort made to help us out, customer service non existant, never going back to this place

3 day peaceful rest right on the beach in the deluxe cabin, 2 br, basic kitchen/bathroom, good beds, nice tv and dvd player. The position was amazing, lovely mature trees and well kept gardens amenities, no annoying pets, helpful staff, so easy in and out of park, 30 steps to the most serene picturesque Western Australian Beach, calm, lapping clean, safe. Saw a swimming group using the length of beach for their early morning swim, soo calm. The sunset was incredible. 5 minute drive up to Fremantle, markets, shopping open family space. just watch for the parking in Fremantle - everything ticketed. we got $50 fine close to the big Ferris Wheel

Room Tip: Any of the cabins backing onto the beach are good

the accommodation is clean but is very old fashioned - the location is excellent with coogee beach virtually on site and there is some well kept park land with toilets and bbq's -- the cost is a bit expensive for the quality of the rooms .

We booked three nights here on a powered site for our campervan. We used it as a base to visit family in surrounding suburbs.
On arrival the office was closed as we didn't get there until late, but it wasn't a problem as a really nice staff member provided us with our key and directions and we went and got settled.
The sites for campervans were shaded by lovely trees. It was a short walk to the toilet/shower block and they were very clean.
Pretty much right on the beach, it was a great site.
I would stay again, it was clean, tidy, quiet and relaxing and the people that worked here were very friendly and helpful.

Abt 10mins drive to Fremantle, 1 straight road there, beach is just behind our unit, good location. Unit abit small even for the 3 of us. But for the $ it's charging, wld think is reasonable.
I'd stay again just for the location

Fremantle is not a good place to find budget accommodation unless backpackers are your thing. I decided on a motel room in Coogee Beach Holiday Park and had 2 different rooms during my week and a half in Fremantle. The Park is about 10-15 minutes drive south of the cafe strip on Cockburn Road. Coogee Beach is a short walk and would be very convenient if holidaying with kids. The beach is safe without large waves.

The motel rooms are just dongas (transportable accommodation usually used on mines) The room has a queen bed (comfortable) a bathroom, fridge, microwave and a tiny TV that doesn't pick up digital, which is a surprise and a disappointment. The first room I had had a mould problem but was otherwise clean. The second room was clean, but missing the chair and remote.

The walls are thin and in the middle unit (of a block of three) the sound of the hot water system squealing was very noticeable. You can also hear the reverse cycle air con next door working, and clunking when the thermostat cuts in and out. I could hear the neighbours moving about.

I didn't really get to enjoy the amenities and I'm sure this would be a fantastic spot in summer for a family holiday. Freo is closeby and Rockingham and Point Peron is a short drive. There are chalets, camping spots and cabins on site which would be worth considering. This review is only based on the motel units, which were a bit disappointing. Be aware also that apart from a credit card surcharge there is a no refund policy. So if you decide the park is not for you, you either have to harden up or forfeit your money. Coogee Beach Holiday Park is part of the Aspen group

Room Tip: Give the motel units a miss. If you do get a motel unit try for one on the ends and not the middle o...
