The price and the room were excellent.
They have a 24 hour buffet - sounds great right? Nope, weird! Everything was in baggies and tupperware. It just seemed gross that you had to take your eggs from a baggie and warm them up in the microwave to have breakfast. But you could have a side of macaroni salad or a hot dog from tupperware too!
If you're looking for a clean room, with a great price, this is the spot. But skip eating here.
We stayed at the Days Inn Petoskey for Friday/Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The room was very clean, and had been updated recently. Though we didn't use them, we had a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a room safe at our disposal. The building is a somewhat older hotel, but maintenance was very good. Hot water for a shower or shave. Polite and helpful staffers at the front desk. Reasonable rates (via Travelocity).
The hotel was very quiet (despite having a lot of people checked in) both nights.
