We Stayed at the Days Inn because of the proximity to Zoo-De-Mackinac, it was only about a 15 minute drive. The lobby is very small and the hotel was sold out. We had made reservations months earlier so we had no issues at check in other then a long line in a very tight space. The front desk was friendly, but very stressed. We checked in and were given our rooms right away. We were in the same hotel as the lobby was located. When we drove over to our rooms it looked a bit scary. It looks like they are putting an awning up so cars will be covered in the winter, but there were really big holes with pallets leaning up against the poles. We were fine with this because we could still park and we already paid for our rooms anyway. We entered the room and it was a bit small, but had everything we would need. The room had a safe, microwave, and refridgerator. The TV for the size room was impressive and my husband was happy with it. The beds were fine, but it was a bit dark and could use a little decor update. It was a clean and affordable place to stay for the night. We went out to eat, but when we went down to breakfast the next morning we found out we could have probably just eaten at the hotel. They had an overwhelming amount of free food! I have NEVER seen anything like it. FREE ice cream sandwiches, chips, soups, salads, fruit, fruit cups.... I had brought hard boiled eggs and bananas with us for our pre-bike ride fuel and just wanted a cup of coffee and I found I could have just left the food at home because they had this as well. I would definitely stay here again prior to Zoo De Mack!

We have stayed here for the last 2 1/2 years (at least 3 times a year). We always have very clean rooms and excellent service. The staff is so wonderful. We have very much enjoyed the café that is open from 6am til 10 pm. The soups are fantastic and the rest of the options are great. We would not even consider staying anywhere else. We actually go out of our way and will drive further to stay here.

Room Tip: The North side rooms face the lake!

Although the Days Inn is not furnished with fancy furniture, (maybe a little updated) it was very much worth the money. We had a king bed, frig and microwave in the room. The room was very clean, a little small but everything we needed.
They have a cafe that is open from 6am to 10pm that provides almost anything you want to eat! We were very happy with the selections, maybe not sometime you want to eat everyday but hit the spot.
We had a second floor room that overlooked the bay, beautiful.
We would stay again.

Husband and I, adult child and pet dog stayed one night: very clean, close to big box stores, very friendly and helpful, free meal cafe ok. Yes we would stay again. Pet friendly - only $12 extra and they had dog run and poop bags. Great value. No pool / hot tub but didn't want one anyway. Room had microwave and fridge. Reservations all in order upon arrival

We spent three nights in your hotel in Petoskey, and enjoyed it very much. The beds were very comfortable, room was quiet, and staff members were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was good in our room and in the other areas, e.g. dining room, front lobby. We were pleased with the variety and quantity of the food offered and found it a very reasonably priced holiday.
