I absolutely love this hotel. It is close to the casino and close to my clients. The reward card is a MUST as you can get free rooms in the future. If you stay during the week the cost is much less. The bed is so comfy and the room is a lux in my book.

The facade of this Holiday Inn Express Hotel appears to be fine. But, if you have allergies to pets, smoke (which is illegal in Michigan), dust...do not stay here. My daughter, who has special needs, chose to go here for her birthday. The front desk people were rude, they say no pets are allowed in the lobby and while they were saying this two large dogs walked through without a leash, barking and jumped up on my daughter who screamed and cried!! They yelled at her for bringing attention to the situation and at me!! The place is dirty...and it smells. People take their dogs outside, near the rooms, where the relieve themselves. Cars were parked anywhere in the parking lot...outside of any parking lot lines for the day and night. Terrible TV's, loud and noisy hallways and next door rooms. Went to take a shower and the pipes were loud and no hot water. The front desk said the hot water heaters were being replaced. We usually don't go to their "free" breakfast but we thought we should get something out of our stay and it was awful. It is very hard to eat in an area where people are allowed to touch food with only one item of clothing on. I am talking about grown men, BIG men, who just hopped out of bed with shorts on, no shirt and no shoes walking around on the carpet in between tables. I was so appalled that I said something to the lady at the front desk who did not say a thing to them. So, I went out and asked her why and she said that she called her boss and he said it was okay....and the franchise owner said it was fine. But if more than just one person complained then she could say something. People were also taking sausage, etc. to their pets in their room. Terrible people working there....it made me literally sick and my daughter too. No way would I ever go near the place again!!! I called the Holiday Inn Headquarters and their County Health Department.

We stayed here for night for a wedding, the hotel was nice but the main complaint that my wife and I had was the room noise. You were able to hear everything from the hallways and the other rooms next to you. Our room was a king with a pull out bed which had quite a bit of space for a standard room and it had a LCD TV. As a nice touch the hotel has a Limo which will take you to the Odawa casino from 3p.m. to midnight. This hotel offers a free breakfast which they will deliver to the room at your request. Overall this place is a solid three star hotel with nice additional touches.

A short getaway to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband and friends. Enjoyed the limo transportation to and from the hotel for dinner in the evening so we didn't have to worry about driving. Fun!

This is a nice hotel that offers shuttles to the casino for free. The breakfast was ok, but nothing great. The pool was a little dirty but I was there on a Sunday so I imagine that they hadn't cleaned it from the weekend rush.

Stayed here on Sunday, August 29, 2010 after learning that their room rate was less than the worn-looking EconoLodge down the road. Pleasant staff, decent breakfast, spotless room with small balcony, and pet-friendly policy made this an ideal choice. The hotel appears to be brand new and everything worked well. There are lots of suburban big box stores (Walmart, Meijer) in the area. While the location doesn't have the charm of downtown Petoskey, it isn't too far a drive.

Had a very nice stay with them this past week.
There is no smoking IN the hotel, however I was really annoyed by smokers huddled around the entrance. I had to walk through their smoke several times. IT PLAIN STUNK. My favorite was a woman parked on a chair next to the main entrance with a cig in one hand and her inhaler in the other. Very special.
