We camp here in June every year, and just recently trekked in to the dunes in the snow to sled with the kids. The campground and bathrooms are spotless, the buildings have all been repainted and look friendly and inviting. The beach store has recently reopened and offers basic snacks & ice cream which my kids LOVE! They also rent kayaks which are a blast! We look forward to this trip every year!

Nestled right at the end of Little Traverse Bay, it's a big beach with lots of dunes to explore. The campground has plenty of trails (Mt. Baldy an all time fave). Been coming to the park since I was in diapers and so happy that my kids love it now as much as I do.

Petoskey State Park is situated on the sand dunes of Lake Michigan just north of Petoskey and is a beautiful spot! Whether camping or just for the day swimming or picnicing it is a wonderful park. Highly recommend!
