“Our server made our day.”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

We had the opportunity to visit La Señorita this past weekend. The food was average but we enjoyed the meal. Our server was so personable and really made our visit worth the trip.

“I'm from Texas, what more can I say?”
Reviewed August 23, 2014

The service was fine, as were the top shelf margaritas. However, I'm from Texas where we are used to really good Tex-Mex. this food was barely marginal in taste. A lot of chili powder, and that was about the extent of the seasonings. We might return if we get a bad enough craving for Mexican food while away from home, but probably not.

“Dirty, Dark, Disappointing food”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

Decided to give this place a try as it is close to our home. We shouldn't have. There was no one at the hostess desk when we arrived. A server finally saw us and placed us in a large dirty, dark room. We had requested open and bright. The server was pleasant but not very knowledgeable about the menu or the drinks. We ordered pretty basic meals and waited quite some time for the food. Chips and Salsa were straight from Gordon Food Service. I really enjoy quality Mexican Food and this was not. Tasteless, overdone, poorly presented and just not good. I seriously do not know why this place always seems to be busy. I would not recommend it.

“super guacamole!”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

we just happened upon this restaurant during our two wk. stint to michigan and wisconsin recently. we all thoroughly enjoyed it. the food was really good - fish tacos i had. when we were seated we were invited to go to a taco chip bar and get 4 different kinds of mexican dips - all very tasty. then the meal was good, but the BEST thing by far was the guacamole that the waitress made right at our table. just yummy!!!! our waitress was so good, so attentive and she was really working so hard - the place was just hopping. we didn't have to wait very long to be seated despite the huge # of people and our waitress worked as fast as she could. the downside was that the place was so noisy but, to be fair, most restaurants are today( i think that's what young people really like).
it also was a bit "old in the tooth" looking but a tasty, inexpensive, safe, know what you are getting, but great surprise homemade guac. kinda' place.

“Dirty, Grungy with little to no service. Why bother?”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

This place used to be nice. Large drinks, free snacks at happy hour.

What Happened?

It was not just dirty, the table was grimy. It looked the carpet hadn't been cleaned in weeks under the table. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like but I'm amazed at the tourists that stop here. For what?

Tear it down and put something else here instead. This is a waste of money for poor Mexican food when there is a great restaurant south of town.
