This is a must do in the Pellston area. Right on the lake, dinner is tasty and plentiful. Excellent service. Sit on the deck if possible.

“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

A truly relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Once you find DLB (turn off US 31 across from Pellston Regional Airport) you'll return often. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. (My wife and I ask for Janet, but the entire staff is pleasant and efficient.) DLB is one of our favorite restaurants in Northern Michigan.

“This is an up north gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

This place is awesome! I've been here twice and the last time went with five people and we all ordered something different. Each item was outstanding. The service was good and they had live music on Sundays. It is priced competitively and is the best spot to eat north of Gaylord.

“Good Food Does Not Replace Slow Service.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

My headline sums up our experience. I can't even remember what I ordered. It was tastey, but was overshadowed by the whole bad experience. We were staying at the Lake and this place came highly recommended, plus we could walk. Granted, we had a large party of 10 and did not realize we needed reservations, but we're ok with waiting. Some of our party decided to pass, so down to 6. A busy Saturday night should be better staffed. Our poor server could not keep up. Took forever to get refills on drinks. Orders were sent out wrong from kitchen. Some things we never got -like bread and marinara sauce for nephews pasta. He just ate it plain. We were not the only ones - lady next to us got snippy that she couldn't even get more water. By the time we were done eating, place had emptied out and service still slow to get our checks.
