Our homemade sauce blend compliments any of our pastas and Italian meats. We offer veal, New York strip, certified black angus filet, lobster, mussels, walleye, and other seafoods and are even known for our mouth-watering BBQ ribs. And as the first restaurant to offer pizza in the Southwest Michigan area, our hearth-baked pizzas are sure to delight. With a large selection of appetizers, dessert specials, full bar, and wine offerings, you may come in for a snack and ending up staying for the evening enjoying delicious food and great conversation. “Nice Italian Restaurant.”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

We were staying in Paw Paw for one night. Were driving around, trying to decide where to go for dinner. Spotted La Cantina. It sounded like it might be Mexican. We like Mexican food. Since we never been there before, I went inside to check it out. While there, I found out it is an Italian restaurant. We really didn't plan to have Italian, but place looked really good, nice atmosphere, upscale clientele. Menu looked good. I went back to the car, told my husband about it, and we decided to come in and have dinner. We were promptly seated. Hostess was pleasant and professional. We both ordered lasagna. Very generous portions. It was made with meat sauce and sausage. My husband thought it was good. I thought it was very good. I really liked all those cheeses, especially ricotta. The bread and the dipping sause they serve before the meal is outstanding. I noticed waitresses delivering pizza, ribs, pasta dishes to other tables, and everything looked really appealing. Service was good. Waitress was friendly and professional for the most part. We left 18% tip. I would definitely comeback when in the area. It's an also great place for special occasions.

“Good food, but noisy”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Try to make this restaurant at least once or twice each year. Their house salad used to have more ingredients (tomatoes, perhaps croutons, etc.) but this was just leafy dark green lettuce. The house dressing is tasty and can be purchased to take home. Pleasant waitress / efficient. Veal Parmegan had a slightly different, less appealing taste from other similar entrees at other restaurants. Tender & hot, yes, but not the best tasting entree. Noisy, very noisy. Scenic on the Paw Paw River, Could eat outside, but we didn't. Drinks reasonable price. Worth a stop when in Paw Paw, MI. Not open for lunch.

“Great family restaurant”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

This family-owned restaurant has a lot to offer. I've eaten here several times and have always had a delicious meal. It offers an extensive menu but my favorites are the pasta and meatballs, and chicken Parmesan. The restaurant has outdoor seating and beautiful views. It's wonderful to patronize a family business instead of a chain. They make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend this delightful place!

“The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

Business dinner on a Sunday night. The food was outstanding but the service was truly lousy. Our waitress literally left during the middle of our meal. She also spilled a glass of wine on me. We saw her walking down the sidewalk. The atmosphere is nice yet informal. The bar is very nice as well, and the wine-pour was generous. One of the better restaurants in this small town.
