This hotel is older but well kept up. The view of Lake Superior from the front rooms is amazing. Breakfast was good and the beds were wonderful. The staff was very accommodating in adding a needed rollaway to our king suite. Spend the extra money on the rooms overlooking the lake!

We were coming from Mackinaw City to catch a few things in U.P. MI. this was the closest to Whitefish Point. We got a Lake side room which had a little balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. you can't walk much on the beach as it is private property on either side, but it was wonderful sitting in the few lawn chairs on the beach listening to the waves/gulls and watching the sunset. Got an excellent pic of the sunrise next morning. Very relaxing.

Room Tip: Ask for best rate and then ask about discounts

Happened across this gem while doing drive thru Upper Penninsula of Michigan. Very very nice hotel on the shores on Lake Superior. Definitely a step above most hotels in the Best Western staff. Nice beach, balconies facing the water and indoor pool. Only down side was slow wi fi in the room -- but it was free and did work.

Room Tip: 10% discount for Costco, Sam's, AAA and AARP.

This hotel is immaculate. The lobby is classy, the room was perfect, and the staff helpful and friendly upon both check-in and checkout. I had a king lakefront room on the third floor. The room was spacious with plenty of room for luggage. The view of Lake Superior was gorgeous. The balcony was small, but definitely room for two people. It is not a private balcony so be prepared to see the people next to you and below you. The bathroom was huge. I really do not have any complaints, except perhaps a desk rather than smallish table would have been nice, and the internet was very, very slow. The hotel is close to Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point and since Paradise is very small, you could easily walk to most places in town, except perhaps Brown's Fish house, which you must visit. The breakfast was well stocked, although there are not many tables in the breakfast area and it was packed every morning I was here. I found the coffee above average for hotel coffee.

Room Tip: pay extra if necessary for a lakeview room!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The "Season" in the "UP" of Michigan had not yet begun and the weather was cold, wind and rain. Therefore, there were very few quests. Nonetheless, we saw no diminishment in expected services. The property was brightly lighted and the breakfast was fully provided. We saw not attempts to "cut corners". On the contrary, we were offered a free upgrade upon checkin. Our lakeside room was very comfortable and clean and was serviced adequately each day. The manager was friendly and helpful and this made our stay all the more enjoyable. From what we saw in the area, there is no better place to stay in the Paradise, MI area. The rates are not cheap but in this case, you get what you pay for. We were very satisfied.

We stayed two nights at the Best Western Lakefront Inn in September on a trip through Michigan and Wisconsin. This is a very nice hotel, with rooms overlooking the Bay, which is also part of Lake Superior. I really didn't expect this nice a hotel in what is a somewhat remote location. Our room with balcony overlooking the water was very nice. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful (as was the hotel owner). The complimentary breakfast was good/adequate. There are not a lot of choices for dinner, but we enjoyed two dinners at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel.
The hotel is also very conveniently located near the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Tahquamenon Falls, and both are "must-see" attractions.

Stayed here for 5 nights on 2nd leg of our tour around Lake Michigan.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, spotlessly clean and well maintained inside and out and liked the fact that there was no late night noise tolerated. Even though we do both like a drink or several, after a long day out we're way too tired for late night shenanigans from a rabble of rowdy revellers.
We were upgraded from lake view room on 3rd floor to a suite on the ground floor. Patio doors allowed immediate exterior access for my ciggy habit and to the nice little beach on Superior. Laying in bed with curtains open allowed a view of the spectacular sunrise over the lake.
Room was comfortable with separate living/sleeping areas. Could've done with more drawer space (only a 2 drawer dresser). Huge bathroom with oversized vanity. Shower was powerful with constant hot water. Bed was comfy and room was surprisingly warm for mid September on the lake. Free in-room wi-fi.
Breakfast area had huge windows and a view over the lake but was very hot with the sun shining in (especially if standing by the waffle maker) and blindingly bright. Continental breakfast had the usual fare and was kept well stocked.
Lobby area had lots of seating and central feature fireplace. We did use the pool and hot tub but not the adjacent sundeck (a little too nippy for that).
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable on things to see and do in the area. Laurie gave us a very informative free map of the UP. Didn't realise how big the UP was and only got as far west as Munising for a Pictured Rocks Boat Tour (or half tour the day we went due to inclement weather).
There are several restaurants in town. Tried to get food at Yukon Inn on the Friday night but they were not serving any. Went to the Red Flannel on two nights and meals were good.
Highly recommended.
