All of this is on Whitefish Bay Point. Sorry I forgot the beautiful beach. This is the last stop in upper Michigan. It is as far north and east as you can go. The bed and breakfast gives you the opportunity to enjoy the area. It is an old Coast Guard baracks

We stayed at their bed & breakfast (5 rooms) on the grounds. It was our best night on our trip. The beds are very comfortable and you get the breeze from the lake at night. We highly recommend walking out to the shore at sunset. Make sure to bring a jacket, it was windy and cold in the middle of July. We will be back on our next trip up north. On the same land as the Shipwreck Museum, you have to visit all together. A wonderful afternoon outing with the family. See the old living quarters and the old resuce ships. Well-informed guides tell you the stories of a hard life at the old Lighthouse. Nice gift shop, and you can buy pasties to eat while you stroll the grounds, a yooper favorite!
