Owner description: Excite, Enlighten & Enrich! Since 2007, Tipping Point Theatre has become a popular destination in Northville for theatre-goers to come out, see a show, enjoy a meal and shop in our beautiful downtown area. We produce classic plays, musicals and bring the best of current off-Broadway productions to our professional little theatre. We pride ourselves on producing high-quality, accessible and affordable theater for the communities of Novi as well as the Metro Detroit area. The theatre itself is small and quaint, seating about 100 patrons and it is very warm and welcoming. Every time you see a play here, you will feel like you're part of the show---a connection is made between the cast and the audience. If you have never experienced theatre like this, you must come see what you're missing. The TPT is a great way to enjoying an evening out with friends and family while supporting the arts right here in Michigan! We hope you will join us for a night of live profession theatre close to home!

Northville continues to amaze us. The Tipping Point theatre closely located to downtown eateries and boutiques offers a stand out line-up of theatrical gems. The theatre is small so it sells out early. Parking abounds in the neighborhood as well. There is not a bad seat in the entire theatre

We are theater goers so this was a wonderful addition to the community when it first opened. We recommend it to everyone. The actors are great and know their stuff. Sometimes the plays have not met our interests but we chalk that up to we can't be pleased all the time...it is the arts! We can't figure out why more young people don't attend this theater but realize to be season ticket holders is probably costly for their budgets. We love supporting this place.

We have been to every play since Tipping Point opened its doors and the beautiful, intimate theater continues to deliver quality and fun entertainment. Don't miss it!

I attended a play at the Tipping Point last year that was so incredible that I was prepared to be disappointed if this one didn't measure up. But I was wrong. It was also wonderful. The acting was amazing and the show so well written. (See other reviews for more info on the play.) This theater is very intimate and there is not a bad seat in the house. The tickets are $75, but most of that is tax deductible as this is a fundraiser for the theater. A nice selection of drinks, appetizers and a champagne toast is included. The theater owners do a great job of doing other fun things before and after the play so it is relaxing but also festive. You can also be home well before midnight so you are not on the road when it gets crazy.

This short one act play by Joseph Zettelmaier was ideal for this small theatre and was a super play, giving an insight into the hereto unknown events in the lives of Scrooge and Tim Cratchet. Some of the events were surprising...but it was all fascinating. Good job Tipping Point. This is a small theatre with a projected stage, so every seat is a good one.
