Owner description: Excite, Enlighten & Enrich! Since 2007, Tipping Point Theatre has become a popular destination in Northville for theatre-goers to come out, see a show, enjoy a meal and shop in our beautiful downtown area. We produce classic plays, musicals and bring the best of current off-Broadway productions to our professional little theatre. We pride ourselves on producing high-quality, accessible and affordable theater for the communities of Novi as well as the Metro Detroit area. The theatre itself is small and quaint, seating about 100 patrons and it is very warm and welcoming. Every time you see a play here, you will feel like you're part of the show---a connection is made between the cast and the audience. If you have never experienced theatre like this, you must come see what you're missing. The TPT is a great way to enjoying an evening out with friends and family while supporting the arts right here in Michigan! We hope you will join us for a night of live profession theatre close to home!

“Great NYE venue”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

I attended a play at the Tipping Point last year that was so incredible that I was prepared to be disappointed if this one didn't measure up. But I was wrong. It was also wonderful. The acting was amazing and the show so well written. (See other reviews for more info on the play.) This theater is very intimate and there is not a bad seat in the house. The tickets are $75, but most of that is tax deductible as this is a fundraiser for the theater. A nice selection of drinks, appetizers and a champagne toast is included. The theater owners do a great job of doing other fun things before and after the play so it is relaxing but also festive. You can also be home well before midnight so you are not on the road when it gets crazy.

“EBENEZER - WELL DONE PLAY”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

This short one act play by Joseph Zettelmaier was ideal for this small theatre and was a super play, giving an insight into the hereto unknown events in the lives of Scrooge and Tim Cratchet. Some of the events were surprising...but it was all fascinating. Good job Tipping Point. This is a small theatre with a projected stage, so every seat is a good one.

“Wheelchair seating”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

It is difficult if not impossible to purchase wheelchair seating at this theatre. When you go on the web site to purchase tickets it will not allow you to view the seating location or purchase whelchair seating. I left email with theatre and did not get a response.

Steve,

We are sorry to hear about your troubles purchasing acceptable seating. Our stage layout changes every show, and occasionally it is difficult to convey what seating is like with a 2D image. If you have any special seating requests, we encourage you to make a cal to our Box Office, where our knowledgeable volunteers and staff will help you find a day that wheelchair accessible seating is available!

“Lovely theater”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

There are no bad seats in the house. The plays are great with talented local actors and actresses. You must check it out because you won't be disappointed. The staff is very pleasant, it is easy to park and there are lots of good places to eat all around it.
