“Good food for a tavern”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

This place has a huge menu, with lots of selections. I had the fish sandwich and it was very large, not greasy, and included good coleslaw. They were quite busy at lunch time, and service was a little slow, but it is still a good lunch destination. For a tavern, I was glad to see that not everything on the menu was fried. They had a good variety of sandwiches and dinners that sounded appetizing.

“Good variety but not consistent.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

Have eaten here a few times. Food has been hit or miss. Fish and chips excellent one time but just so so the next. Mac and cheese has potential to be really good but WAY TOO much panko. Pesto chicken, burger, and roasted chicken solid. Pork tacos good but skimpy amount of toppings.

“Ate here twice in one weekend, loved it!”

We ate here while staying in town for a wedding. The food was great, the service was quick, and they had a great beer selection! Price was comparable to applebees/fridays but the food was way better!

“Great fish and chips”

My husband and I ate here last Friday and I had the best fish and chips. The fish piece was huge! Great fries and cole slaw also served with it.

“Nice surprise.”

If you need a quick beer and some above average eats this is your place. Many beers I had the seasonal Sam Adams and the Philly cheese steak.

Great place to watch the game also.
