We stopped by after spending the morning at Warren Dunes State Park. We waited for a table for about 30 minutes during the busy lunch hours. We will seated and the waitress promptly took our drink order. If you order between noon and 3 from the Working man's menu, your burger comes with fries. I ordered the double Velveeta burger. My wife ordered a burger without a bun. We enjoyed the burgers with our fries, which were hot and crispy. Other entrees in our party included a chicken sandwich and a pill cheese. We also ordered onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Everyone was full after the meal. This is a cash restaurant with an ATM inside. Well worth the visit while in New Buffalo.

They say they are a legend, and I believe it! They cut and grind the beef there. It was absolutely delicious. Unbelievably crowded, but fast service. Highly recommend. Note that they are closed during the winter.

Service was good and we had burgers. They were good and done right. Margaritas were a bit weak and contained mostly mix. Atmosphere was great. We would go back.

Good selection on the menu for a quick dinner but food could have been better. Perhaps it would have been if we had a more caring/experienced waitress. Starting with their drinks: iced tea was terrible, very watered down with no flavor; also they do not have decaf coffee—really!? Two of us got the perch tacos. The fish tasted good and the slaw was good, but feta cheese and cold tortillas ruined them. Husband had a burger and when the waitress asked how everything was he told her the brioche bun was dry-she laughed! After taking a few seconds to think about it she asked if he wanted her to bring him a new bun. Dad didn’t complain about his plain burger with velvetta. Fries were good because they weren’t greasy but should have been a lot warmer. Won’t stop in again next time we’re in that area.
