This restaurant offered an excellent cuisine, a great wine list and a very friendly service. We would always visit this place again.

“Elegant restaurant, authentic Provençal cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012 via mobile

The menu at La Ferme de la Huppe is well thought out, and offers a great opportunity to anyone who wants to experience Provençal cuisine at its best.

The staff is lovely and willing to take the time to explain the dishes on the menu, as well as recommending wine that would go well with the food.

We loved everything that we tried here...and the people who run the restaurant made it a perfect experience.

“Best dinner showcasing the jewels of Provence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2012

Highly recommended restaurant based on online reviews (chowhound, tripadvisor) and Lonely Planet and Fodor's guides. The service was excellent with their ability to accomodate our lack of French speaking ability. We were given great wine recommendations from the region based on our described preferences. The amuse bouche and entire meal was an excellent highlight of seasonal produce and the lavander of the area. Each dish was generous in portion, perfectly cooked, and perfect in its simplicity. We had the provencal soup, stewed beef and scalloped potatoes, rabbit, and molten chocolate cake and apple tarts for dessert. The ambience, food, service-- nothing disappointed. We even asked about the main ingredient in a particular sauce and things were lost in translation. The restaurant manager and server looked it up online to translate for us!

“Lovely dinner and great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2011

We were recommended this restaurant by the caretaker of our villa and were not disappointed. The staff at the restaurant were enthusiastic and clearly enjoyed their work. They were friendly and helpful and their timing for serving each course was perfect. The amuse-bouche were delicious and a sign of good things to come. Although the choice for each course was small, on the set menu at 42 €, that was a plus because each dish was perfectly prepared. Artichokes made in a way that I have never experienced before, delicious, soup au pistou packed with baby peas etc. that exploded in one's mouth with fantastic flavor. Meltingly delicious porch iberique, ditto the boeuf en daube. My daughter had the most beautifully cooked St.Pierre. The vegetables were perfectly done. The restaurant decor was very simple and the room a little on the dark side but this did not detract from a lovely experience. First class simple French food in a warm friendly atmosphere. A wonderful evening with the family. We'll definitely go again.
