“Thinks rather highly of itself.”
Reviewed August 3, 2012

Eye wateringly expensive. Very small portions for what you are paying. We were gobsmacked at the prices here given that we have eaten at one, two and three michelin star restaurants. I think this has one star but it has a seriously over inflated sense of its own importance. Service throughout the meal was efficient but not friendly. We had to wait over 25 minutes for our bill and after 3 requests, no apology was offered. The outdoor terrace is modern and bland, which is a shame because the grounds look interesting. Very disappointed.

“Michelin! wake up! this place deserve it!”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

I never went to the place inside the village so, i cant tell, but the new location? Gosh thats good! Ok, to tell you the truth, the amuse bouche, when we tasted it, was a bit average, and the price of the champagne rosé by the glass a bit of a joke. For the rest, the maquerell was perfectly cooked, the langoustine spectacular, the ris de veau, the tuna and foie gras, the veal... we loved everything!!! so much finess, class in presentation and mix of taste and textures to die for. Big thank you to the sommelier for the choice of local wine at the perfect price. Please taste the rasor clam dish, never had something so good in my life.
Looking forward to go back

“A wonderful place for a wedding”
Reviewed June 17, 2012 via mobile

We attended a wedding here, Friday lunch time. Everthing about this restaurant was first class, the food was sensational, wine excellent, service also excellent, nothing was a problem. Congratulations to all that were involved.

“Best Meal I've ever had.”
Reviewed June 8, 2012

My friends, my wife and i visited Chez Bru last week. it was fantastic. the best meal i have ever had. i've always been intimidated by fancy foodie restaurants, but the service was so pleasant, formal, but pleasant and the food was so good that i was amazed. And the place was beautiful also. Contemporary, stylish and extremely well done. I was amazed by such style in the countryside. i wasn't prepared either for the meal or the architecture and setting. Wonderful.
