“Firesale”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

Not being a fan of Mexican food, I did not frequent Poncho’s too often. When I did, I found the food to be of good quality and full of flavor. This was not a restaurant (such as Taco Bell) that served “popular” Mexican foods or foods that were not really authentic in nature. They served the kind of Mexican foods you might find in Mexican homes and in Mexican restaurants found in Mexico rather than Americanized versions of Mexican foods. Those who enjoyed this fare are currently in a saddened state as there was a fire at the restaurant last year which closed the restaurant and no reopening date has been announced.

“Closed due to Fire.”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

The restaurant had a fire and has been closed since Sept 2013 hope they will reopen! This was a family owned business. The food was good and they had puffy tacos. These were tacos made on a deep fried corn shell that puffed up when they cooked them. Miss the tacos.

“Poncho's is closed due to a fire.”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

The restaurant had a substantial fire and will be closed for sometime, if not for good. Just thought I'd pass it along to save someone the drive if you hadn't heard about it. The damage was quite substantial. They are closed.
