We traveled with relatives to see the D-day beaches and this location was perfect. We had 2 Rooms which were very spacious, clean and charming. Food was terrific! I had read that this 13th century farm house had been occupied by the Germans during World War II. When we were checking out we commented on the nearby brick wall, asking if they had built it to keep out the Germans? The reply- no, it is a little older than that, built to keep out the British, but now they want them to come for tourism!. A good sense of humor too!

My wife an I stayed here Oct 2003 and are planning a return trip here Oct 3013. Great location for visiting WWII batlegrounds. Also close for touring Caen, Bayeux and St. Michel and other wonderful French country side places.
Hotel is charming, staff extremely friendly and accommodating, restaurant quaint with great menu.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and were delighted with the hotel, restaurant and excellent service. it is ideally situated to visit the WW2 beaches and within easy reach of Mont St. Michel. We look forward to our next visit when we plan to explore the nearby towns of Bayeux and Caen.

Room Tip: Go for a superior room - ours was delightful

We purchased a group tour of the D-Day battlefields and the tour included lunch. I totally expected to be handed a bag with a sandwich and a cookie. I was delighted when our van pulled unto the parking lot of this beautiful hotel. It was a cold, rainy day but the dining room was warm and charming and the lunch was outstanding. I would surely consider staying here if I ever get the opportunity to revisit Normandy.
