We have used this hotel for about 14 years on a fairly regular basis. The Accomodation is very good( try and get a chalet) , the food in the restaurant is superb, and never ever fails to serve fabulous food. The wine list is comprehensive. Arnaud is a star hotelier in every sence

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners. Shown to our rooms with good explanations of how all operated. Rooms were airy, clean and everything in it you would need. Breakfast was superbly served in the garden just outside our room. A little present of French biscuits were given to us on departure. All in all a great stay and may return if in the area.

Room Tip: Our room was not quite on the roadside so if you keep your windows open you will hear traffic throug...

The location of the hotel is perfect as a stopover if travelling south or as a base for exploring the local area.
Arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted and shown to our rooms. We had the newer rooms which were excellent value, both had wet rooms, were very clean, had extra pillows, and good facilities . There was adequate off road car parking and a pretty grassed area which the rooms opened out onto .
We had dinner in the hotel on our first night.. it was excellent. We were travelling with my son who is a chef and he had nothing but praise for the meal. The staff were very thoughtful.. we also had our three year old grandson who was tired and hungry. They brought his meal out early which was excellent quality. Most people have commented on the two price menus , we found we could mix and match between both and if we had only wanted a main course then this was possible.
I will say that we would have appreciated tea and coffee making facilities but this is not always the norm in France and the staff were very good making us coffee from the restaurant. the rooms would also benefit from improved sound proofing. Hesdin itself is not the prettiest of towns but nearby Montreuil has some lovely areas.
Overall an excellent find and we will definately return.

Les Trois Fontaines (Logis de France) takes its name from some old wells in a nearby field, so don't expect tinkling fountains. This is ranch style of hotel with the attractive wood-panelled rooms facing a lovely garden. Each room has chairs so you can sit out and sip an apperitif in a pleasant atmosphere. There are drawbacks to the rooms. The shower (wet room style) has either no or very imperfect thermostatic control, so that when your loved one flushes the loo, you almost get scalded. Much attention has been given to the restaurant decor, but much less to the cuisine which was unexciting and showed little thought or care. Breakfast was minimal even by improving French standards. We shan't stay there again, yet met another couple who loved it.

We were travelling south from Calais and had booked for the first time for an overnight stopover. What a surprise and pleasure it was to vist Les Trois Fontaines. The superior room was clean with first class facilities for a two star hotel. We sat in the very pleasant gardens for an aperitif which was followed by dinner - a meal that was beyond expectation and certainly better than a two star rating. Service was attentive at all times and the whole experience was certainly value for money and better than many other higher rated hotels in which we have stayed. We look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: Superior room was good value

Very clean room. Comfortable bed. However wifi was not accessible in either the bedroom or the bar. Another guest had the same problem of not being able to connect.

Restaurant. Reasonably busy but service not very attentive. There were only two menus – at €19 and €28. Two choices on each menu. In my opinion the selection was very poor and there was nothing for a main course for a vegetarian. My partner was offered an omelette which when it arrived had no accompaniments. I had assumed it would be served with pommes frites as it always seems to appear on menus as omelette frites. When I asked where they were, I was informed that I had not ordered them. This was charged at the same rate as if she had had a 'proper' main course. To be fair, my main course of cod was excellent and perfectly cooked. The starter of melon with melon sorbet was adequate and the sorbet for dessert was also very good. However, overall, I thought the meal was poor value for what we paid.

We had stated here 9 years ago for a cycling break with a group of friends and thought it godd. Returned this year for 4 nights and another cycling break. It has had a refurbishment and is a lovely place for a short break within easy reach of Calais. Rooms are clean and comfortable and open out onto the garden which has chairs and tables to sit and enjoy a drink. The food is superb, and the service great. Will definitely go back.
