The Anchor Inn is a great place to stop in Naubinway. We always stop for Latte's when in the area. They have a nice gift shop too. And wireless! Always friendly and accomodating.

When get to our cabin, our first stop is Valliers for milk, bread, eggs and the great sausage. Then we walk the Naubinway "mall". The Anchor Inn is a must stop. Lots of shopping with local art and good food to boot.

The Anchor In Naubinway is a place geared toward hospitality (free wi-fi, friendly service, and a comfy atmosphere with big tvs and a fireplace). There is live music on Saturday nights. On a hot day I'd recommend the Mackinaw Island Fudge Ice Cream--yum! On a cool night, you won't go wrong with a Mint Mocha! I like that they sell local art and gifts as well. An awesome stop on beautiful US-2!

We first found the Anchor In Naubinway last summer when we stayed in the area on vacation. What a sweet spot! There's really NOTHING like it around there. It is clean and fresh, the employees make you feel welcome, the ice cream drew us back several times, they have very unique "Up North" gifts for sale...and it is about the only place we could find that has Wi-Fi. Even my teen-age boys gave it a thumbs up! Last fall I was back up in the U.P. again on a business trip and happily found it was open year-round. It really is a unique treasure along U.S. Highway 2.
