“Great Experience.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Dont worry about the carriages not being pulled by a steam engine if you go on a day they are only running diesel. It is cheaper on the diesel and it is the views that you go for.
The train clings to the side of the rock faces and goes through tunnels and goes over viaducts etc,When the train emerges from the tunnels and you see the view it is spectacular and one of the best views I have seen from a train.

“Quaint experience in delightful countryside”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

This is a delightful journey on a steam train through the hillsides of the region. It is a quaint experience from a bygone age and gives good views of local countryside. There is a stop half way for refreshments but don't wear "your favourite top" because clothes can get burnt specs from ash in the steam from the train.

“Steam trains and good views - what more could you want?”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Open coaches and fantastic views along the way, and complete with tunnels, so don't expect to come away not smelling of smoke! Some amusing banter from the train conductor (I assume that's what you'd call him) as well. If you're hungry though, get food before you go, as the café sandwiches leave something to be desired. But a great day out.

“Good fun with the kids and views to enjoy”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

Lovely trip with the kids - plenty of space and for open carriages allowed, great views for the adults and the kids loved the trip especially the tunnels! Friendly staff and pretty station and the guide was a very cheery fellow on the train? Sit at the back of the train ( actually front for the outbound trip) for the best camera views along the line of the track and keeps you out of the way of the diesel fumes on the way back.

“Excellent experience!”
Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

This is amazing...at just under 9€ per person. The journey lasts around an hour. The ride is very comfy & the sights are amazing.

There is the opportunity to buy gifts on the way back, they are slightly overpriced but the money goes to help the attraction!

Staff are very friendly. It does get hot because of the steam. The best part is going through the tunnels.

Worth a drive just for this!! I loved it!
