Florac is located in the midst of great alpine mororbiking roads. Checking in was a bit of a chore as the lady in reception seemed to be overworked. Once checked in we found the rooms to be clean and more than adequate. Dinner in the dining room was good and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. Covered parking was available for our motorbikes.

A very tired hotel run by a French Basil Fawlty. When I asked for help with the wi-fi connection, he grabbed my iPad out of my hand, opened it at a completely French language page and pushed it back at me! When I asked what a certain dish on the menu was, he said "Kidneys" and walked away. I put it all down to the fact that I spoke no French. The hotel seems to be frequented by large groups of vintage car enthusiasts, so there is a fair bit of motor revving in the driveway and big groups in the dining room. Couldn't wait to leave!

We were on a coach party trip for five nights. Stayed in the annex part, clean and large bedroom, overlooking the garden. However take care with the bath, very slippery, seem to have been polished. No proper shower fitting/curtain, but plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable, but had to remove the bolster pillow.
Breakfast was basic French fare, plenty to eat. Our evening meals were four courses, simple but filling. Free wine being provided.
This hotel would be useful as a stopover if travelling further south.
We were also greeted by the very friendly large Alsatian, who does not seem to understand any English.

Room Tip: Suggest a room in the annex, seem to be quieter.

Would love to have stayed here in the high season to see how it compared. I think me and my buddy were the only guests. Stayed one night.

Rooms pretty basic but have all that you need. Breakfast was good and dinner smelt amazing although we ventured into Florac to eat elsewhere.

Watch out for there big Alsatian!!

I was here in August 2012 with my boyfriend and his family. We had arrived in the early evening after calling to confirm our reservation - the woman indicated that there was no problem and that they had our reservation on file. We arrived and the woman said she had no record of it. When we told her we had reserved online she said they rarely check this as she has little working knowledge of the internet. She was quite rude and the rooms we ended up with were sub-par of the three stars this hotel has. It was on a noisy street, very hot, and the appliance within the room were broken.

I would stay elsewhere, but the food at the restaurant downstairs was amazing so you should definitely stop for that. Just not for lodging.

Room Tip: Don't reserve online - they will not have record of your reservation.

Good little find in a nice town within a fab region. The rooms and the hotel could do with an update but are kept clean. The hosts speak english and are friendly enough. Good parking next to nice gardens. Breakfast typically french/continental was plentiful and lots of fresh choices. Hotel hosts Ferrari & Rolls Royce club weekends.

Ended up in Florac after a visit to the Gorge du Tarn. we arrived mid afternoon without any prior booking, the owner hummed & hawed a little but we were able to get a room. Our room was large & clean with french doors that lead onto a balcony with views over the very well maintained and pretty garden. The decor was slightly unusual (never have stayed in a hotel with carpeted walls) but this added to the charm of the place & it definately felt French (unlike some other hotels)

It sits in a very quiet location with a good number of off street parking spaces, 2mins away from the hotel are shops, bars & restaurants (we chose to eat intown as we were only there for one night and wanted to see Florac) the buffet breakfast was varied and well stocked as you would expect. Would return to this hotel if we were in the area again.
