Whenever I am in the region I try to have at least one lunch here. The cafe/bar is simple and the food unpretentious, but a four course lunch, and coffee for €11.50 deserves commendation. There is a single lunch menu, with sometimes a choice of starter and desert but always only the one main course option. The food was as good as ever, with not too many frills, but well prepared, and enjoyable. A salad platter was followed by boef bourguignon, cheese, and a choice of deserts and a cafe. I commend the establishment to anyone. It can be crowded as it fills up quickly with locals, sometimes fresh from tending their vineyards, or working in a nearby garage.
