It was Sunday and we had just arrived at our gite and were looking for our first proper French meal. We were not disappointed to find this small and friendly establishment in the delightful town of Avranches. We meal for three of us was around 70 Euros but that included three courses and wine and a tip. I had a delicious local dish of roast ham accompanied by half a cooked camembert. My friends had perfectly cooked cod loin and magret de canard respectively with plenty of vegetables (which is unusual in France!) For pudding we had the Cafe Gourmande, which is a delightful selection of mini puds on the same plate with an Expresso coffee. The staff are friendly and attentive. The ground floor restaurant seating area is small but there is a separate dining area upstairs if you prefer more room. Loo was good too!
