Nice flavor combinations in contemporary French dishes. I had dinner here with my GF and mother, we all enjoyed our food very much. Also, service is very friendly. Outside seating is possible.

It was my husbands' birthday, so went with 2 friends. We were not disappointed.
Food was delicious with many interesting combinations. Certainly the wow factor!
Not sure if the road sign depicts the quality of the food.

Great food, great service & good value. As you might expect the wine was excellent. The interior is very modern which I liked.

If you are not taken aback by the surprisingly modern decor inside a beautifully restored rustic building, then the food will certainly bowl you over. The husband and wife team who run the place (he cooks, she serves) have created a culinary delight just outside the small town of St Cyprien in beautiful Dordogneshire. The food is of Michelin star quality, the presentation is faultless and the service is perfect and what is more the price is extremely reasonable. I ate the Tornedos Rossini as a main and I can honestly say it was one of the finest I have ever tasted. If there are a few of you, each choose a different dessert - they are all amazing and not to be missed.

We booked a table for 2 at Le Bistrot on our host's reccomendation after arriving at Saint Cyprien early Saturday evening.
I went for the menu of the area , this proved to be an excellent choice , the flavours were just fantastic and the cooking of a very high standard. My wife's choice's also saw some excellent food produced from what is a very accomplished chef.
Given the quality of food and service this is really excellent value with the wine also well priced.
After 2 weeks in France i can confirm this was the first and best meal we enjoyed
This restaurant would be full every night if it was in my town !
