A review could not possibly due the LST justice. If you or some one in your family was in WWII or you are just interested in standing in a part of history, visit the LST. You will never forget your visit.

Watching a movie from the deck after viewing the sunset over Muskegon Harbor is a great way to spend a summer Friday evening.

We took our 8th grade class to visit this WWII Navy ship. We found it very interesting. The people working there were very helpful and shared a lot of information with our students. It was worth the trip.

We visited the USS LST 393 and the USS Silversides. Although this Silversides was a great WWII historic site, I found this place even more exciting.

Basically a floating museum that contains a lot more than just information about the LST. The history of what this ship did during WWII was exciting, but being able to go through basically every small park of the ship was great.

If your wondering if the kids will find this interesting, my son loved going through (15) and and although 1 of my 2 daughters thought this was boring, my older daughter (14) found it quite cool.
