If you appreciate old world places, this is for you. Built in the 1600's and run ever since as a hotel, it is charming and beautiful. Carved woodwork, fabric wallpaper, rich colors of the rugs, snug and comfortable room, lots of common area sitting rooms - rambling. We loved this hotel! The town of Turkheim is absolutely charming, and a respite from city hustle bustle. Yet it is very close to Colmar. The breakfast was amazing - tarts, eggs, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee. All included in the very reasonable price (99 Euros off season).

The manager was fantastic and hard working - she also runs the Hotel Des Vosges restaurant which was excellent!

We can't wait to go back. Be sure to go with the nightwatchman on his rounds!

Room Tip: We had room 39 on the courtyard, second floor and loved it - opened the window and looked into trees. Felt like a tree house. Note that some rooms don't have elevator access, others do, so if that's important be sure to ask

Good location in Turckheim, not having been renovated for a while. If you look for flawless hotel, beware and go somewhere else. Choose your room wisely, certainly if you are used to international standard hotels. Great breakfast buffet. Avoid the restaurant advised by the hotel and venture by yourself in the streets of Turckheim.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms for four, there are actually no separate room and it's quite small for the price you pay.

We stayed 1 night in Turckheim in this hotel les 2 clefs. Hotel hall is really nice with a lot of charm and great decoration. Room itself is what I would call average and certainly up to the price you have to pay. Everything is a bit worn out and noise isolation is not fantastic. Bed quality is also below average and bathroom is really subpar. No view at all also from the rooms where we were.

Moreover, there is no restaurant there but for me this is not a big deal as restaurant they recommended, the one in hotel des Vosges, is really very good and just a few hundred meters from the hotel.

Location is perfect really in this lovely village center

Wireless is free of charge but unfortunaly was not working in our room. Breakfast is not included the room (you have to pay an extra 12 Euros)  and is really very basic with no hot dishes which was quite disappointing.

So overall, it is an ok hotel perfectly located with lot of charm but room quality is not up to the price you have to pay.

We were so glad we had reserved at this hotel. It's decor and spacious lounges, as well as rooms, seem to come from another era. One is in a special place. Their restaurant was closed except for petit dejeuner so they gave us a coupon for two free aperitifs at their other property, the Hotel/Restaurant Des Vosges. It was lovely and we had an excellent dinner.

Room Tip: Our room was quiet and spacious - on the second floor rear. I suspect they are all excellent.

We stayed here 25 years ago on our honeymoon cycling trip, so we had to return for our 25th anniversary cycling trip. Our room was small, but well-appointed and charming (although a minibar would have been nice)- loved the view of the street and the lovely stained-glass windows. We remembered the church bells from our honeymoon, so we were prepared. The staff spoke English and were very accommodating. Breakfast in the dining room was wonderful, but it is a real shame that they no longer serve dinner here- it used to be the best restaurant for miles around, and the setting is beautiful. Our dinner at their sister hotel, Hotel des Voges, was very good. We were very glad to return to the Deux Clefs.
