This restaurant is certainly worth a detour, as the Michelin Guide describes it. We went for our anniversary. The food is fabulous, the dining room is lovely (newly redecorated in 2012), the service is very nice. The personnel are very friendly and ready to help you with the menu selections. Their French and German is better than their English, but they are eager to work with you. The menu is in French, so it helps to know a food words. Or just take the fixed price menu and be surprised. The menu for EUR 87 was excellent, with selections of starter, main course, and dessert, of course with extra courses in between to keep you going. A cheese course was available for a little extra. Service was leisurely, but excellent. The wine selection was extensive with single glasses and bottles available. The sommelier was ready to advise on the selection and prices. At lunch the dress ranged from coat and tie to smart casual. Dinner might be more toward coat and tie.
