We stayed 5 nights in the annex building in at larger room with small kitchen. The building is newer or renovated recently. Nice and clean and a balcony with an awersome view to mountains, forest and vineyards. Very friendly staff, almost singing "bonjour" every morning.
The hotel is convenient situated, easy to find in a quiet area, but with only 100 meters to the town mainstreet with plenty og good restaurants. Many tourists during daytime, but quite silent in the evening.
Elevator in the annex building.

Room Tip: A larger room in the annex with balcony are worth the money.

Tidy and clean 3-star hotel located a few steps from the centre of Kaysersberg. Interior slighlty faded, bathroom proper, but original 70s style. Nice view from balcony on the mountains and forests. Very friendly staff, and good breakfast. Price 90€ plus 30€ breakfast for 2 adults and a child, hence a touch pricy (with breakfast 100€ would have been an ok price).

We had a room in the main building; others were across the road, in which case Brits may want to ask to borrow a kettle to brew their own tea. Evening meals in the beautiful Old Town centre, including the Lion d'Or, a pizza place, or the more nouvelle Old Forge. In addition to bakeries, there's an "intermarche" hidden near the river. Staff are generous and helpful.

This is not a quaint hotel, but an older modern one nicely located on the edge of Kayserberg's walking district. It was easy to drive to and, having traveled a lot in Europe, we appreciate free parking. Our room was clean, fresh, but not special. Breakfast was good and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I felt that we had good value for the money paid. Of all of the towns that we visited, I think that Kayserberg was the nicest one to spend time in. If I go back again, I will spend less time in the other towns and more time hiking around the area.

We stayed here for 1 week and took short trips on the "Route du Vin" like suggested in Rick Steve's travel show. (Riquewihr, Colmar, Black Forest in Germany, the castle at Ribeauville and Eguisheim) The evenings were spent in Kaysersberg and what pleasant time it was. The hosts at Le Logis are charming, rooms are new and spacious (we stayed in the new addition) and the breakfast was in the good french tradition. Parking was sometimes crowded but not a major issue, somehow we always found a spot.

Room Tip: I would ask for a newly built room

Entering Kaysersberg you will find yourself in the middle ages. Arriving at the hotel on the other end of the street, is a bit of a disappointment then. It looks like it is renovated last in the nineties, in seventies style. My friend and I had made reservations for 2 single rooms including a bathroom. The hotelière told us she had a beautiful, newly renovated, apartment for us. It was across the road from the hotel in a depressing apartment building. The hallway and elevator were smelly. The apartment itself could be fairly new (I couldn't tell) but the furniture in it was certainly not. It had 2 bedrooms. One bedroom had a bed in it, the other one had a fold-out couch in it! The shower was not clean at all. We decided to complain about it. At first the lady wanted to give us another apartment. When we insisted, we finally got what we booked: to single rooms with bathroom. Although stil quite old fashioned, they were nice enough.

We had high expectations for this hotel....the price was good, and it offered us free parking, wifi and a room with a balcony. Location driving in was excellent and the desk staff spoke English and was very helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge, but reasonable and very good! We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples....our friends had a nice room down the hall w/ a small kitchen for the same price as ours. We walked into our room and it REEKED of cigarette smoke - although the hotel is a non smoking property. We asked to change rooms, pay more, etc. but even though we were booked for 3 nights, nothing was available. All they could do was offer a can of air freshener. We sprayed it everywhere and asked for a special cleaning....but nothing helped. The smell didn't go away, we couldn't change rooms. Our friends' room didn't smell at all! Next issue was the WiFi - it didn't work in our room! The desk suggested we go to our friend's room and use our computer there since it worked there....what?
Anyway, all in all, it was OK. Price was good/cheap, breakfast was fair, but I would look for another place if we ever returned to this area.
