We ordered the Rosti with munster cheese and ham as well as escargots. Rosti was crisp and flavorful with a salad that accompanied it well. Escargots were ok.

However, service was really slow. After being seated, it took about 15 - 20 mins before the waiter came to take our orders.

During a recent visit to Kayserburg [Ctober 2017] we ended up having our evening meal at The Bratschall Manala on 3 out of 4 occasions
We have to say in our opinion the food was to a very high standard excellant choice and as mentioned in previous reports the Rosti was superb
Allthough busy the service on all three occasions was excellant
Just one word of caution as with most restuarants in Kayserburg they do close at around 9pm certainly during October
During the busy periods ie July August and of course December i would recommend booking in advance
A first Class restuarant a visit is highly recommended

We had dinner here and found a mixed feeling. We were seated at a table by the front window. The waitress came and attempted to take our order. She seemed to have her mind in another place way far away. I had a pig knuckle with frites. My wife had a schnitzel. An espresso completed our meal. We were very pleased with the meal but not with the staff.

We had an excellent lunch (entrée, plat, dessert) for €13! Great location in the historic village of Kaysersberg (birthplace of Nobel peace laureate Dr. Albert Schweitzer) and winner of the 2017 "best village in France" award! Well worth visiting. BTW, the name is Bratschtall Manala.

We happened upon Bratschall Manala for lunch in the middle of a bike ride. It was bustling but we got a table and quick service. The rosti was fantastic. I spent the rest of my time in Alsace looking unsuccessfully for rosti as good.
