“Amazing island”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

The island of vis is 2 hours away located from Split by Ferry, the island still has a very local feeling to it with splended beaches with cristal clear water, we were there during the fisherman festival in Komiza which is celebrated with local food stands, music and fireworks. Really worth to visit it.

Just come here and see for yourself, This is one of the hidden jewels of the Adriatic. If you love the sea and enjoy a quiet, beautiful and unspoilt place then this is for you.

“Beautiuful and unspoiled island”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

We picked Vis for a day trip from Split over Brac and Hvar as we wanted a more peaceful and quiet island. Vis did not disappoint. With a population of about 4,000 Vis is a fairly big island (you can def see the size when you start biking around it - takes a while but it's well worth the effort). The views are spectacular. There's lots of history on the island: prehistoric and also dating back to WW2 (there's even a military tour). We also ended up on a beautiful and secluded beach, one straight out of a postcard.

Even though Vis is two hours away from Split, the ferry ride is scenic and very comfortable. We are glad we visited Vis.

Crystal clear, aqua sea, quiet roads and evenings. Great, simple food. Stunning cliff and mountain scenery. Ferry ride from Split is part of the experience.
