Place was lovely, we stayed in this beautiful garden terrace at the back of the restaurant, but unfortunately, looks can be deceiving...
We were a party of 8 to have dinner and few of us weren´t really that hungry so we asked for a couple of fish soups as a main dish. The waiter was a quite rude and looked at us as if we were aliens to eat such small portions. When the soup arrive it was literally hot water in a bowl with frozen fish inside, which I would never expected to taste in a typical Croatian fishing village. Also we´ve ordered the cuttlefish risotto which is supposed to be a gastronomic specialty of the area, but not only the doses were super small - they´ve served it in 1 plate for 3 people, but also the taste was very disappointing. The most outrageous thing happened when one of us asked for the squid, which apparently isn’t in season, and they´ve served it frozen. Unfortunately, we weren't told this until after the dish arrived, a shame as we could have ordered something else instead.
(I´ve seen this comment from someone else already so it looks like this is a frequent play).
Overall not a nice experience, there are plenty of good places to eat in Croatia but this was definitely not one of them.

This restaurant has a lovely location at the end of the promenade overlooking the harbour.

Extremely busy and turning people away without a reservation.

Very friendly waiter with good recommendations on food and local wine. Service was attentive but there were quite lengthy gaps between courses. It was a nice relaxed meal but the delays were slightly longer than comfortable.

I believe they were aware of time delays and a complimentary dessert was served to share which we considered a nice gesture.

It was good value for money and I would recommend a visit.

We met up with some friends sailing in Vis, and TA recom. They were pretty well booked so we got a table in the courtyard. Fabulous, rustic charm. Great service, with delicious food and lovely local wine.

The owner was very friendly and attentive. Food was good but the lamb dish was somewhat ‘rustic’. The local red wine circa £16 a bottle was very good. Pricing was not bad considering the position.
