“Great cappuccino and desserts....”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Cafe La Rosita is a wonderful place to rest, cool off and get your caffeine fix. Don't miss it if you are in Leon. The prices are reasonable, the food and drinks are excellent and the service is prompt. We did not attempt dinner here, but coffee and dessert were muy bien.

Very nice place to have a snack or a cold drink. Also to talk, very quiet and nice view from the second floor!

“Amazing Location, Sexy View”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

Walking around Leon it is very hard to find a "good" local cup of coffee so look no further than Cafe La Rosita. Located in an extremely central location just 2-3 block up from the Cathedral of the Assumption (big white church) it is an amazing place to visit. Whether your working or deciding what to do that day, come relax, use the free wifi, and enjoy the best few of Leon in their upstairs lounge. Service is extremely kind and efficient, if coffee is not your thing don't panic they also offer normal beverages, cappuccinos, desserts, and breakfast paninis!

“Charming place with relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

I recently arrived in Leon for a long term stay, but already know the Cafe La Rosita will be a regular stop where I can set up with my laptop and work in the cool breeze with an iced coffee. The food and coffee are both very yummy, with baked goods made in house and good vegetarian options (my preference). Water refills are also free, which is rare and a nice break from having to constantly buy bottles. Finally, it's a cooperative-owned and operated business - a cause well worth supporting!

“Lovely place to chill out”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

Upstairs is lovely and airy. I had breakfast there and also lunch. American breakfast with bacon was delicious. Panini at lunch time was very welcome after many limited menus in other parts of Nicaragua. Great latte too.
