Great place in a good location. We had a private double room at the top only issue was it didn't have a window and the bathroom was a long way away! Nice pool area and they organised for us to go volcano-boarding - our guide was fantastic. Recommend this place

A nice clean hostel in the middle of Leon. You are next to all the main eating places and churchs and only a short walk away from the main square, supermarket and markets.
The hostel itself is quiet compared to some places like Bigfoot, but there are still plenty of people around and there's a pool table and good sized pool to amuse yourself with. It's also within walking distance of Bigfoot so you can just go and drink there at night if you want.
The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend

I stayed in more than a dozen hostels in Nicaragua and Lazybones was easily one of the best. Prices are reasonable, the owners are very polite and conscientious. I had to leave Nicaragua temporarily for an emergency and the owner was able to drive me to the nearest city so I could catch a shuttle back to Managua, for a reasonable fee. Patrick and his wife invited us to have lunch with them and their staff. The pool is nice, there is a fun little pool table, the atmosphere is good, it is much cleaner than most Hostels, and the rooms are reasonable. Overall I strongly recommend this hostel.

Lovely, calm place in the middle of Leon. Very friendly staff! The little swimmingpool was lovely after a long day in the burning sun. We staid in a two-persons-room on the first floor; nice room, enough space, proper beds.
The hostel offers guided tours (historical ones in Leon itself, and tours to the volcanoes of course), and cooking-wortshops, which we unfortunately discovered too late to be able to participate.

Lazy Bones has a perfect location, a couple of blocks from the central square.
We were recommended to take a room on the first floor and that was a good recommendation, the rooms are spacious (especially the corner ones) and away from the activity around the pool and lounge area.
The pool is very welcome with the Leon temperatures.
Only minor point us that they don't have a kitchen, the owner explained that they used to but as none of the guests cleaned it they decided to close it. For good breakfast options walk to El Desayunazo, half a block to your right, loads to choose from and huge cheap portions.

As goes for entire Leon, don't be alarmed by the 7 and noon alarm, it goes all over town and is a standard routine.

We stayed here in December 2012. It is a good central and safe location in the middle of Leon. There is plenty of space to relax and the fridge is well stocked with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the pool is clean and the wifi is also decent.
We had a private room with shower which was basic and dark - but as clean as it could get considering the age. Other guests (like us) seemed to be in their late 20s/ 30s. It isn't a party hostal - which suited us fine.

Lazy bones was a good hostel. They had a nice swimming pool, a pool table and plenty of chill-out area. We organized a trip to Cerro Negro for Volcano Boarding through the hostel, and our guide was really good!

The dorm room was not the best though, it was very dark even with the lights on, and had a LOT of noise from the street. Earplugs are recommended if you sleep in the dorm.
