Gorgeous park with beautiful scenery. There is a wheelchair accessible walkway to view the Miners Castle shoreline area but you can't explore the entire path down to the other overlooks via a wheelchair. There were restroom and picnic facilities and a fantastic park ranger who told us a lot about the park and what to see. I was a little disappointed because if you can't or don't hike there is very little you can actually see in the park from the car, but if you're already in the area it's definitely worth the time. The drive from Miners Castle to Grand Marais is very pretty, at times giving beautiful views of Lake Superior and the surrounding forest, but it is a very winding road!

We took a boat tour of the painted cliffs. Was enjoyable for my wife. Waves were 2-3 feet so I got sea sick myself. Tour was 2 hours and cost $45 per person.

It was a little cloudy, but the sun came back on the boat ride home. We had a great day. Love the history and the beautiful views. I visited in high school and I was so excited to go again. I would highly recommend the stop!

If you are going to Munising, you have to see the Pictured Rocks. The boat tour was a great way to do this. It does get a bit chilly on the boat; we were there in July, we had on long pants and hoodies, and we were still cold above-deck. So bring extra layers, especially if you want to sit on the upper level. Nevertheless, we had a great time, saw some amazing views, took some great pictures and made some memories. Definitely recommend!

We hiked to a few spots and took the pictured rocks boat tour. It was beautiful. We hiked to a few Falls and tu Miners Castle. It was all worth it. One of our best vacations ever.
