Great staff, lots of interesting information from the guides, relaxing tour, incredible scenery, couldn't ask for more! Reserve by phone ahead of time and pay when you get there, very easy!

“Great boat tour with knowledgeable guides.”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

PROS: ample parking; nice gift shop – the building is a replica of the East Grand Island Lighthouse; reasonable prices in gift shop; ample room in boat- everyone had the time to see the wrecks ; great first wreck – the other 2 were so-so; 2 hour trip made palatable by good speakers from the captain and the narrator; clear glass bottom of the boat; restrooms in gift shop and boat;

CONS: 2 out of the 3 shipwrecks were pretty sparse; at least the first one was amazingly mostly intact; on the 2nd shipwreck, the ship was really tipsy and made me and my companions nauseated;

TIPS: bring a thicker coat as the temperature in the boat and lake is 10 degrees colder than on land; also the wind can be strong and make it even colder;

“enjoyable trip”

Great boat tour, really enjoyed the sites. Fun for all ages!!! The waters were a little choppy, but definitely worth the $32 /adult.

“Amazingly amazing”

Great tour of a few shipwrecks, east channel lighthouse, and mighty superior. Prices are a bit high, but it is a great time. Friendly guides. Seats are comfortable. Bring sunscreen!

“A Little Expensive, But Still Enjoyable”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

It was fun to learn about the history of the shipwrecks, but I'm not sure if it was worth the cost. I think if someone was going to spend the money I'd recommend the Pictured Rocks tour instead. Either way you can't beat the views out on the lake.
