This long boat tour featured three Great Lakes shipwreck sites viewable from a glass bottom boat. The hard working women of the crew did a lot of people shuffling so that everyone could get all views and hear the stories of the wrecks. Hats off to them! It was a sunny day and there were many out on their kayaks, sailboats and small craft also enjoying their holiday. There were snacks and soft drinks available onboard for purchase too. This was a very enjoyable trip and I recommend that and the Shipwreck Museum in Whitefish MI also. That is farther north, and there is a lovely waterfall nearby called Little Falls. We didn't get to see it that day but the pictures are amazing.

This tour was AWESOME!!! Captain Joe and Esley were friendly and very informative. As new Yoopers, we were very excited to learn some of the history of Lake Superior. We were able to view 3 wrecks, each was explained in depth and the Captain made sure everyone was able to get a good view. Besides talking about the wrecks they told of some of the history of the area. It was very fascinating. We will take our family and friends when they come to visit.

This tour is 2 hours long and is very interesting. It takes you out into Lake Superior to see 3 shipwrecks from the late 1800's and early 1900's. You can actually see the shipwreck below you sitting there in the bottom of the lake. This boat has glass window bottoms to get closer views and is fully narrated. Very informational as well as some humor mixed in. Captain Kate and her assistant Marney Kate made this a memorable tour and were both great at what they do! Not over crowded and everyone got a turn to see everything!! Would recommend taking this tour if you are interested in the shipwrecks and stories behind them. You also get to see some of Grand Island and the lighthouse and the few cabins located on Grand Island. Snacks and drinks are allowed on this tour which we didn't know before hand, so if you do go feel free to pack a snack :) No coolers though.

This was an incredible experience and my whole family enjoyed it. The whole tour took about two hours and that included time out to the various wrecks as well as time spent at the sites. The captain was very informative and told many unique stories about the area in addition to the shipwrecks themselves.

Our boat was about 2/3 full and the crew divided everyone into 2 groups to make sure that everyone got the full experience. While it was the other group's turn, you could go back to your seat or go above deck and see the view from up there. The narrative would begin again so you could hear anything that you might have missed the first time around.

The wrecks themselves were amazing. We could hear everyone actually say 'wow' or gasp when they got their first glimpse of the first wreck. In addition, the crew made sure to point out many little details which might have otherwise been missed.

The tour also passed by a lighthouse as well as some of the Pictured Rocks. The tour then passed by Grand Island, where we were lucky enough to see several wild bald eagles flying to their nest and then eating a fish lunch. The captain slowed the boat down enough so that everyone could enjoy the eagles.

The crew seemed to take great pride in their work and to enjoy their jobs. They were friendly and patient with everyone as they worked to make sure that everyone had a good time.

The gift shop was reasonably priced and we found several cute souvenirs to take home.
