the chowking branch im referring to is found in the petron station infront of puregold in subic.

since we ordered a group meal, they stacked up plates on our tables. when i started giving them out, i noticed the top of the plates were greasy with orange sauce or something. i tried to get the attention of the staff, but the manager and supervisor (yes, they both were there) were too busy talking that it was the guard who helped us. he brought the plates back to the kitchen.

the chicken was dry and not crunchy. even the pancit was extra greasy and yucky. we havent eaten lunch, and it was already 4 pm, but we left the restaurant with more than half othe food still on the table. it was that bad.

This chowking has the kitchen upstairs and the staff brings things down one or two items at a time. The table next to us finally got all their food after the first of their group was finished. We had to argue with staff and get another staff involved along with our receipt to prove that we paid for drinks. Next time will try one of the other choices.

Quick cheap and tasty food, its like fast food stir fry, so feels healthier than junk food but very quick

I prefer Chowking when I am hungry for one simple reason - it has excellent variety in rice dishes. there are 2 chowkings in subic - one at victory liner bus stop and the other after the public market. both have ample space on the upper floors.

their noodles is good, so is the pork read chops and orange chicken. For 130 pesos you can have a combo of all of these (and a sweet and iced tea) else they also have set menus for 5 people (500 pesos) and dishes start from about 40 pesos. The pork fried rice too is good.
