One of our stops. Amazing to look up and at, will look good in a picture but that's it. Prior to entering you have to sign in a log book and make a donation (any amount will do).

The background about the tower itself is very interesting. Unfortunately, unless you look it up in advance or have a tour guide, you will not receive any information otherwise. When you arrive you must register in their log book and make a donation (any amount) in order to continue to the tower. The tower is not really maintained and there is not one within managing all the people who enter.

From the front of the church one would see the red bell tower standing-out from atop the hill. Its a good uphill walk but it sure is nice seeing the view from up there!

I am so amazed how the local government managed to preserve this structure. It is the sole high rise structure that you'll see in the area. I guess the local government prohibited buildings or structures that would spoil the grandeur of this centuries old tower.

There are no fees but the tour guide is nice enough to tell you the history and be your photographer.make sure to give him a tip.

no fee in entering the tower but needs registration. there are tourist guides if you want no fee but a little help is a big thing for them. good also because you will know the history of the place.

located beside st. augustine church. there are five bells on the tower, for everyday mass, christening, procession, funeral and wedding.

view from the top is amazing! you can see the cordillera mountains on one side and the city view on the other. i advise to go there late in the afternoon or during the sunset.

after visiting the tower, you can also see the church and light some candles for your prayer. they say its one of the miraculous churches.
