Entrance is free. The pony ride was good. It will take you to where the camels are, which was a little far from the main attraction. The set of animals that this zoo has is far from complete. There were empty cages but still have labels of animals (like lizard, snake, etc.) I wish they create a zoo that foreigners and even us, locals, will really look forward to.

Owned by the family of the famous Singson clan of the province of Ilocos Sur, everyone is welcome to visit the place for free. I have been here several times and each time I come, there's always something new to see. Upon entering the place, there are tamed parrots and cockatoos that visitors can feed with bird seeds being sold at a minimal cost. There are available mini calesas kids can ride for free but you may give a small amount as tip. Ostriches, mini horses and deers are roaming freely while tigers in cages are all over the place plus a lot of other wild animals. If one is lucky, one can watch their scheduled animal shows. Their latest addition are tarsiers from Bohol. There are snacks, drinks and souvenir items being sold. Rest room facilities are also available.

it was huge place but with a small number of animals. should have been used a zoo or the like. but after all the place is nice and the people were kind. We loved taking pictures at the Baluarte word spelled out in capital letters and in of a human size life size dinosaurs!

I just always hear baluarte as associated with the name Singson. When we get to go at the Baluarte, it was a very huge area. And the surprising thing is, the entrance fee is FREE!. Not bad. We also get to ride on their mini calesa in which small horses are the ones running instead of the big horses. As payment, you can give any amount as you wish.
The place was great though because there are a lot of animals - snakes, tigers, birds, ostriches, etc. The other side of the field is still in progress of beautification so we get to explore more on the left side. Not badfor a tourist destination that is free.

Last tourist attraction we went to. A public mini zoo with local and imported animals. You can have a visit without entrance fee to pay. But I think it is better for them to ask for an entrance fee from tourists for additional maintenance of the zoo and for additional food for the animals. The animals looks very hungry and thirsty, and they even look so tired. Lack of trees for animal shades. It would be much better if they will ensure safety and comfortability of the animals in it.
