A place where you could easily spend 1/2 a day or more provided you have interest in religious & historic sites. I loved the place.
The temple had special energy. The wood & stone carvings are exquisite

Visited Bhaktapur as part of an organised Trek/Tourist trip. By pure chance, we came upon a film crew and cast filming for a Nepalese movie, The town has plenty of other stuff that makes it well worth a visit. The dance filming just added a bonus to the day.

One of the most beautiful site in Bhaktapur. Incredible architecture, mixed up history, culture and tradition. Very old city of Kathmandu.

The whole ancient neighbourhood of Bhaktapur is a gem which transports you to glorious times where constructions were grand and impressive while materials warm and cozy.
A pity that after the 2015 earthquake many are damaged and some down but one still can feel how it must have been. Do not miss when in Kathmandu Valley.
