“Don't miss this experience”

With daily power outages, seeing the museum can be a challenge for ideal conditions, but they do have generators and the staff were very accommodating, especially since we were so amazed by their collection, great!

“dont skip it”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

Theres a mostly very good collection of miniatures, not well lit, but light comes in the long windows. An old painted floor, almost no-one around; despite neglect etc it had a charming nostalgic feel.

“Worth to visit Indian and Nepali paintings”
Reviewed February 1, 2012

It's just in the middle of square and beside royal palace. There are too many ancient paintings there and also you can find some original Kama Sutra Paintings!
It's not too big and be worth to visit. I really enjoy visiting these miniatures and original paintings of this culture.
It has just a little entrance fee. I think 100 NRs.
