My friends and I were stuck in Bhaktapur during a Nepali festival and every hotel we went to was booked. We happend to meet the owner of Cosy Hotel and he invited us to stay. Very affordable and they bent over backwards to make sure that our stay was comfortable. They brought us in an extra bed, which was very comfortable and set it up for us on the floor. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. The restaurant on the roof served great food and allowed an excellent view of the bustling street below. All of the staff was very attentive. I would highly recommend Cosy Hotel to anyone visiting Bhaktapur.

As our last hotel in Nepal, this one was excellent for it's value. Wooden floors, continuous warm water from a strong shower, double windows and excellent staff - and this all in the center of Bhaktapur, a very beautiful (and not so noisy) town just outside Kathmandu. The small clean restaurant provided excellent dinner, snacks and the included a-la carte breakfast was (again), the best during our stay. The hotel opened recently, so it's not in many guidebooks yet, but i expect this hotel to become pretty crowded in the next year...

Excellent stay with great windows in our room looking out onto real local life. Old building with modern super clean interior. Great rooftop cafe and comfy clean sofas to relax in chill out room. Host is amazingly helpful and friendly. Staff are very nice and will help with any requests about sightseeing. Tv with DVD memory stick movies, ask at reception. We used this hotel as a wind down luxury relax before ending our long term travel trip. Highly recommend it to anyone. Brand new hotel and professionally run to western standards. Bhaktapur is a must see town in Nepal and Cosy Hotel is the best option for this budget, from what I have seen.

After traveling for a month in Nepal, we had pretty much given up hope of finding a hotel even semi-close to Western standards, so we were really pleasantly surprised by this little gem in the village of Bhaktapur. We had been given this recommendation by our jeep safari tour guide, Yubaraj, at the Nature Tour Guide Office in Chitwan. First of all the staff was super friendly and showed us our options for the rooms. They were reasonably priced and included anything we wanted for breakfast. The room was very quiet, clean, the mattress comfortable, and for the first time in our Nepalese travels we had amenities such as shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bottled water, even a packaged cookie. The hot water worked and we had plenty of it. We appreciated the cozy sitting area stocked with newspapers and loved the rooftop restaurant area at breakfast. The Hotel decor is pretty unique, and I liked the location near Potter's Square. If we had had more time we would have liked to have stayed another night.

Room Tip: If you have allergy issues there are rooms without carpet, which I always do better with. Bhaktapur...

Cosy hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Bhaktapur. Where all the other guest houses look more or less the same, Cosy hotel looks like a design hotel and is very comfortable. The matrasses of the beds are twice as thick as usual and there was always hot water! The staff is very helpfull and friendly. We have enjoyed our stay here very much.
This place is a fantastic alternative to busy, noisy and smelly Kathmandu.

We stayed 7 nights at the Cosy hotel and honestly can't wait to get back there. Very clean rooms, bathroom, common room and restaurant roof top. The staff is some of the friendliest we've come across while traveling the world. They are more than accommodating, honest, sincere, happy and very eager to help out in any way. They helped plan our '2nd' marriage to each other in a Buddha/Hindi fashion at the Laxmi Temple.....then planned a small get-together dinner on their roof top terrace....it was truly amazing and so memorable. The staff got us more excited about the day with their excitement to be a part of it all. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area.....when you find the best, why settle for less!?! The hotel is very new...comfortable beds, hot showers, LCD TV and internet use in the common room. Anil....you and your staff are truly the best and made our special day magical!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. See you soon!!! Diane & Jerry

Cosy hotel was really great during our entire 7 day stay. Clean rooms and bathrooms, the best and consistently hot showers we have had in the 2 months we have been in Nepal. Also, likely the nicest people working here with great recommendations on local sights. Comfy beds and sheets. The location is also really excellent. Great value, particularly if you ask for reduced price, not including breakfast. The hotel is brand new and it really shows in every way.
